ITSG Pisa 2024

Trade, GVC and innovation dynamics

The next meeting of the ITSG - Italian Trade Study Group will be organized by the Department of Political Science, the Research Lab Global Innovation Dynamics (GLINNOD, University of Pisa) and by the Manlio Masi Foundation. Submissions are invited on all topics in
international trade and production. Papers exploring how international trade and innovation
processes interact are particularly welcome.

Topics of special interest include:

  • The digitalization process in a global economy
  • Green and digital: the twin transition in a global context
  • Globalization, employment, automation
  • International migration and innovation
  • FDIs and the development and diffusion of new technologies
  • Participation in GVC and their impact on productivity and development
  • Intellectual property rights and trade

Complete papers (or advanced drafts) should be submitted to the Secretariat Fondazione Masi
- segreteria.fondazionemasi@ice.it  – by the 18th March 2024.

The acceptance of the papers will be notified no later than 8th April 2024.
