ITSG Rimini 2025

Globalization, environmental challenges and the evolving economic geography

The next meeting of the ITSG - Italian Trade Study Group will be organized by the Department of Economics at the University of Bologna, in collaboration with the Manlio Masi Foundation and with the support of INFER (International Network for Economic Research). The event will take place at the Rimini Campus of the University of Bologna.
Submissions are invited on all topics in international trade and spatial economics. Papers exploring the interplay between international trade, environment and climate change are particularly encouraged.

The event will take place at the Rimini Campus of the University of Bologna on June 19-20, 2025.

Topics of special interest include:
• International trade and the green and circular economy transitions
• Spatial implications of modern production: cities, regions and trade
• Trade policy, migration flows and environmental issues
• Innovation, technology transfer and ownership in global supply chains
• Digitalization and automation, and their implications for trade and environment

Complete papers (or advanced drafts) should be submitted to the Secretariat Fondazione Masi: segreteria.fondazionemasi@ice.it – by April 30, 2025.

The acceptance of the papers will be notified no later than May 12, 2025.
