Brixen Summer School and Workshop on International Trade and Finance 2009

The relationship between world GDP and trade in the current recession: a structural shift?
The Fondazione Manlio Masi, Rome, the Laurea Magistrale in Economia Internazionale and the Master in Commercio Internazionale - MASCI, University of Padova, are pleased to announce the 1st edition of the Brixen Summer School and Workshop on International Trade and Finance to be held in Bressanone/Brixen between September 14 and September 19. The Workshop is intended for PhD students, graduates or young economists and will consist of a summer school with lectures by leading scholars and dissertations by participants plus an International Forum on topics of current interest in the field of international trade and finance.
The lecturers of the 2009 edition are Diego Puga (IMDEA and University Carlos III Madrid), Gianmarco Ottaviano (Bocconi University), Beata Javorcik (Oxford University) and Hylke Vandensbussche (Catholic University of Leuven).
 
Applications must be submitted by June 26, 2009
 
Notification of the accepted applications has been postponed to the 10th July 2009, due to the high number of received requests.
