ITSG Salerno 2022

Current developments in international trade and cross-border economic activities: a focus on new technologies, environment and labour markets
 
The next meeting of the "ITSG - Italian Trade Study Group" will be organized by DISES (Department of Economics and Statistic) of University of Salerno and by Manlio Masi Foundation on June 23-24, 2022.
 
Topics of special interest include:

• Trade, factor (and firm) mobility after COVID 
• Disruption in trade(sanctions) and international production networks in time of crisis
• Trade and labour market outcomes
• Artificial intelligence, new technologies and international trade
• Offshoring and automation
• Environmental innovation and knowledge spillovers through trade
• Migration and democracy
• Trade, environment, and the current global crisis
 
Complete paper (or advanced drafts) should be submitted to the Segreteria Fondazione Masi segreteria.fondazionemasi@ice.it by April 30th, 2022.
 
The acceptance of the papers will be notified no later than May 23rd, 2022.
 
The keynote lecture of the Workshop will be delivered by Frederic Docquier, 
Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER).

We plan to hold the meeting in presence at the University of Salerno. However, due to the uncertainty of the COVID-19 situation and possible travel restrictions, the meeting may become a hybrid or a completely virtual meeting.
