Post-Doctoral/ Post Graduate Position
The Department of Economics of Roma Tre University seeks candidates for a: Post-Doctoral/ Post Graduate Position in the research area "Modelling to estimate the value of social benefits arising from safeguarding agriculture and tree biodiversity ".
We expect the candidate to have a strong quantitative background and interest in environmental and development economics. The position’s focus will be on the application of computable general equilibrium (CGE) models to issues related to develop a set of geospatial analytic tools to estimate the value of benefits enjoyed by society through the enhancement and/or safeguarding of agriculture and tree biodiversity. Thus, knowledge of CGE modelling is required as well as availability to travel in African countries.
Being partially funded by Bioversity International, the position provides excellent support to potential candidates who are interested in developing their career in international organizations.
The position is initially for one years but may subsequently be extended. Annual salary is determined according to the Italian scheme (€23,350).
