The Fondazione Manlio Masi, Rome, the Laurea Magistrale in Economia Internazionale and the Master in Commercio Internazionale - MASCI, University of Padova, are pleased to announce the 2nd edition of the Brixen Workshop & Summerschool on International Trade and Finance will be held in Bressanone/Brixen in September 12-17, 2011.
The Workshop is intended for PhD students, graduates or young economists and will consist of a summer school with lectures by leading scholars. Each participant is required to take active part and present a short essay on a topic related to the lectures. An International Forum on will conclude the Summer School.
The lecturers of the 2011 edition are Carlo Altomonte (Bocconi University), Jonathan Eaton (The Pennsylvania State Universtiy), Giorgia Giovannetti (University of Florence), Philippe Martin (Sciences Po - St. Gallen University) and Peter Neary (Oxford University ).
The applications deadline is June 15, 2011.
Due to the high number of received requests, notification of the accepted applications has been postponed by the 5th july 2011.
